Very little is known about Berenguer de Palol. He was born in Catalonia and composed many beautiful songs which are a series of passionate compositions of rare musical and poetic beauty. The musicians of Ensemble Cantilena specialise in performing the repertoire of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and closely research their musical sources.
