The song "Fortuna Desperata» was one of the greatest musical hits of the 15h and 16th centuries and was reused and adapted by numerous composers. New parts were added, new keys were chosen, new texts were written, and many other compositional techniques were used. To continue this Renaissance tradition, two composers were asked to write a piece based on the same melody in their musical language: Ivana Kis (*1979) and Kilian Deissler (*1989).
