Pierre-André Valade (Dir) // The title of Dulle Griet refers to a painting by Pieter Brueghel the Elder: 'Mad Meg' is a character from Flemish folklore who personified the shrew, the woman giving free rein to her anger. Also, the recording's atmosphere is quite electric and bruitist, the sound of the instruments is often almost unrecognizable, with numerous barely audible passages, alternating with very agitated noisy sequences. A strange music open to the imagination.
