Adam Falckenhagen could very well have produced a great deal of compositions. Unfortunately, these six sonatas are the only works left intact. In these works, the flute and the lute are treated equally, performing a dialogue that is rarely seen in music from this period. Performers on this album include John Schneiderman on the baroque lute, Jeffrey Cohan on the baroque flute, and William Skeen on the baroque cello.
