The Italian harpsichordist, Alessandra Artifoni, began to study the harpsichord at the age of 9. It was at that early age that she became an enthusiast of early music, in particular of JS Bach's. She studied at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and Liceo Classico Galileo.
