The major part of his musical legacy consists of sacred music to which he devoted most of his active life. A lot of it was preserved mainly thanks to many existing transcripts that were found in various churches, on church galleries and in monasteries. His instrumental music unfortunately was not that lucky and most of it has been lost forever.
